Kart and Track Info             

Sidetracked Go Karts are 9 horsepower.

  • Sidetracked Go Karts use 4 stroke engines.
  • The track is approximately 320 metres long, with a straight and lots of turns.
  • Go Karts on the Grand Prix circuit reach speeds of up to 45 kilometres per hour.
  • Go Karts on the Rookie circuit reach speeds of up to 35 kilometres per hour.
  • Sidetracked Go Karts use 270 CC engines.
  • The standard maximum amount of drivers per ride is 12.
  • The minimum height requirement for drivers is 1350mm approx.
  • Sidetracked does not allow drivers wearing thongs, sandals or any open toed shoes.
  • The average lap time for a Grand Prix ride is 25.5 seconds.
  • The average lap time for a Rookie ride is 32 seconds.

Grand Prix Circuit

Each ride is approximately 10 minutes in duration.
Drivers must be over the age of 18 (proof required) or 16+ with a learners permit and parent/guardian approval. Anindemnity form is required to be filled out at Sidetracked before your ride.


F3000 Circuit

Each ride is approximately 10 minutes in duration.
For experienced Junior Riders, the min. age is approx. 14 years, and 1.35m height approx. Adults are welcome on F3000 rides, however minor speed restrictions will apply to all drivers. All drivers under 18 must have an adult over 18 to sign an indemnity form for them.


 

Rookie Circuit

Each ride is approximately 8 minutes in duration.
For Junior Riders, the min. age is approx. 10 years, and 1.35m height approx. Adults are welcome on rookie ride: however, speed restrictions will apply to all drivers.


Mini-Rookie Go Kart Dide

Designed for 7-9 year olds, this is a fun Go Karts experience for beginners. Available Saturday morning, Sunday morning, and during the week.


Double Kart Ride

Double karts ride on the Rookie Circuit
Each ride is approximately 8 minutes in duration.
Drivers must be over the age of 18 (proof required). An indemnity form is required to be filled out at Sidetracked before your ride. Passengers must be over the age of 4.
